PA Probate Forms
Show Table of ContentsThere are a number of state-specific forms you may need when going through the probate process.
General Forms
In Pennsylvania, the Orphans' Court division of the local Court of Common Pleas handles wills and estate probate. If you are using EstateExec and you enter the decedent's county of legal residence on the Decedent tab, you will see a direct link to the appropriate court here.
You can check with your local court for the forms they might prefer, and below you will find some of the more common PA forms:
- Petition for Grant of Letters (Form RW-02) - Get the probate process started
- Bond Waiver (sample from Wyoming County) - Include with Petition if desired and not addressed by will
- Notice of Administration (Form RW-07) - Notify interested parties that probate is underway
- Certification of Notice (Form RW-08) - Tell the court you made the required notices
- Inventory (Form RW-09) - List estate contents for the court (you may be able to attach the EstateExec Inventory Report)
- Model Account - Estate Financial Accounts (consider using the EstateExec Accounting Report)
- Petition for Adjudication (Form OC-01) - Statement of proposed distributions
- Status Report (Form RW-10) - Tell the court the settlement is complete
