Probate Forms (OK)
There are a number of state-specific forms you may need when going through the probate process.
This page lists common OK forms and offers help in locating others. While you are welcome to browse these forms, note that the Tasks Tab will guide you through the use of relevant forms at the appropriate times.
General OK Forms
In Oklahoma, the local District Court handles wills and estate probate. If you are using EstateExec and you enter the decedent's county of legal residence on the Decedent tab, you will see a direct link to the appropriate Superior Court here.
Below you will find links that allow you to download and use some of the more common OK probate forms (you may want to check with your local court for form preferences):
- Petition for Probate of Will - Get the probate process started
- Petition for Letters Administration - Get the probate process started if there is no will
- Proof of Death and Heirship - Tell court about heirs if there is no will
- Estate Inventory - Consider using EstateExec's Inventory Report
- Final Accounting - Consider using EstateExec's Accounting Report
Oklahoma does not provide state-wide forms, so above we have provided a couple of starter probate forms from Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties.
Some courts have forms available in the Probate Department or the Law Library, you can create your own, or you can have an attorney do it for you.
Small OK Estate Forms
Small estates sometimes need only 1 specialized form or affidavit: see Small OK Estates.
Using OK Probate Forms
If you are using a licensed EstateExec estate, information about finding your court will appear here.
As mentioned above, the tasks on the estate's Tasks Tab
will list a series of steps that help you understand which form to use when.
