NE Probate Forms

Show Table of Contents

There are a number of state-specific forms you may need when going through the probate process.

General Forms

In Nebraska, the County Court handles wills and estate matters.

You can check with your local court for the forms they might prefer, and below you will find some of the more common NE forms:

Nebraska provides this helpful flowchart of the probate process.

Unfortunately, Nebraska does not make most forms available to the public. You will need to craft your own petitions (here are the Petition for Probate requirements), or hire a lawyer to help you (the Nebraska State Bar Association makes forms available to its members at very low cost).

Small Estates

Small estates sometimes need only 1 specialized form or affidavit: see Small NE Estates.
