Manage Executor Information
Show Table of ContentsThe Executor Tab allows you to manage executor details (e.g., name, official title, Letters), plus:
- Contacts (i.e., address book)
- Executor Time (i.e., activity log)
- Executor Expenses (i.e., out-of-pocket expenses for which you expect reimbursement from the estate)
Click the desired category radio button at the top left of the Tab to switch between views.
Executor Files: At the bottom of the Tab (when viewing Details), you can store your executor Letters of Authority and any other executor-related documents to which you want easy access. It is not necessary to upload anything here: this capability is simply for your convenience.
Co-Executors: If there are multiple executors, you can add them here by clicking the Add Co-Executor button. To remove the bottommost executor in the list, click the Remove Co-Executor button.
Executor Province: Note that some provinces have special rules for out-of-province executors. If you have multiple provinces, EstateExec will normally use the province of the first executor in the list for these purposes. You can override this by setting the Executor Province at the top of the Overview Tab.
